MaxPreps & GameChanger Data Sync - Private

MaxPreps and GameChanger teamed up to make managing your team as easy as possible!

Using GameChanger enables you to sync over your information to MaxPreps seamlessly. Syncing rosters, schedules, scores, and stats has never been easier!

Data Syncing is currently only available for Baseball and Softball.

We are aware the new GameChanger app offers all sports and look forward to expanding our data sync in the future!

Setting up Syncing to MaxPreps

Enabling the Syncing Feature
Automatic Stat Syncing:

Varsity Football and Basketball stats are handled differently than other sports. Instead of needing to export a .TXT stat file from HUDL and then import the file into MaxPreps, the files are automatically sent over to MaxPreps with just the click of a button.

To send and publish stats from HUDL to MaxPreps:
  1. In your HUDL account, find the game you'd like to sync to MaxPreps.
  2. In the, "Manage Schedule" section, click the blue +Add button, shown below.
  3. Fill in the requested information. If you are only adding a single game, go ahead and hit the, "Save" button. If you are adding multiple games, select, "Save & Add Another."
  4. Next, log in to your Team Admin on MaxPreps and head to your Schedule.
  5. Find the game you would like to approve the stat file for.
  6. Select Enter Stats
  7. Choose HUDL game file from list
  8. Continue & Review File
  9. Publish & Continue
Once you hit Publish & Continue, you are good to go! You will see the stats in the admin immediately, but can take 15-30 minutes for them to show on the public end of the site.
Syncing the Schedule & Roster
In Your Team Admin:
  1. Click on the Schedule tab on your Navigation Bar.
  2. In the, "Manage Schedule" section, find the game you are looking to make an edit to.
  3. Click the blue pencil icon on the right-hand side, shown below.

  4. Select, "Edit Game."

  5. Once you have made your edits, hit, "Save" or "Save & Add Another" if a game needs to be added.
You will see your changes made immediately in your team admin, but it may take 15-30 minutes for them to show on the public end.
Syncing the Scores & Stats
In Your Team Admin:
  1. Click on the Schedule tab on your Navigation Bar.
  2. In the, "Manage Schedule" section, find the game you are looking to have deleted.
  3. Click the blue pencil icon on the right-hand side, shown below.

  4. Select, "Delete Game." A pop-up will appear confirming you would like to delete this game.
  5. Once confirmed, the game will be removed from your schedule in the admin. It may take 15-30 minutes for the changes to display on the public end.
Deleting Multiple Games at Once
If you need to delete multiple games at once, you can speed the process up by checking the boxes on the left-hand side of each game you would like to delete.

Once you have selected your desired games, you will see an option to delete towards the top of the page. Select this, confirm that you'd like to delete the selected games, and you're all set!

Can't Delete a Game?

Having troubles successfully syncing your stats?
If the following were instructions didn't help get your stat files into MaxPreps, check below for some of the common reasons and how to resolve the issue.

Roster and/or Schedule Does not Match

Team Listed in the Wrong Season/Level
In Your Team Admin:

Game Played was 3 or Less Innings Long
In Your Team Admin:
  1. Click on the Schedule tab on your Navigation Bar.
  2. In the, "Manage Schedule" section, find the game you are looking to have deleted.
  3. Click the blue pencil icon on the right-hand side, shown below.
  4. Select, "Delete Game." A pop-up will appear confirming you would like to delete this game.
  5. Once confirmed, the game will be removed from your schedule in the admin. It may take 15-30 minutes for the changes to display on the public end.
