Yes. MaxPreps is the official statistics, scores, and/or digital media partner of 31 state high school athletic associations — the governing bodies that organize and sanction high school sports in each state. These are formal, contracted partnerships.
In partner states, coaches and schools enter results directly into MaxPreps, and the association relies on MaxPreps to power regular-season standings, statewide stat leaderboards, postseason brackets, and — in many states — the official rankings or RPI used to seed the state playoffs.
