Why is our company being acquired by PlayOn? 

PlayOn’s mission is to become the ultimate all-in-one fan engagement platform for schools, and  MaxPreps is a natural fit for this vision. With its strong brand and trusted presence in the high school  sports community, this acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver solutions that enhance the  athletic experience for students, staff, and fans alike.  

Company Culture and Mission 

How will this acquisition affect our company culture? 

We’ve heard that your culture is strong, and we’re fortunate that both our values and culture are  rooted in the athletic mindset. Our goal is not to replace what makes MaxPreps unique but to ensure  you feel welcomed and fully integrated into the broader PlayOn culture and teams. Together, we  hope to build on the strengths of both organizations. 

Will the MaxPreps mission and vision change?  

70% of organizational success is driven by alignment—in other words, having a clear north star is  essential. Some adjustments to both the PlayOn and MaxPreps mission will likely be made to ensure  that we’re all rowing in the same direction to support schools, fans and athletes.  

Policies and Procedures  

Will the company policies and procedures change?  

Yes, just like starting a new job, you’ll transition to PlayOn’s policies and procedures. These are  designed to support how we work as a team, and we’ll make sure you have the resources and  guidance you need to navigate the shift.  

Customer and Product Impact 

Will the acquisition affect our customers or clients?  

We do not anticipate any immediate impact or change for customers. Our goal for this integration is  to make it as smooth as possible both for you and the schools and students we both serve.  

Will our products or services change?  

MaxPreps is already a trusted and well-established brand, serving schools, athletes, parents, and  coaches alike. We’re committed to preserving that trust while enhancing what we offer. Our mission  is to become the all-in-one fan engagement platform for schools, which we believe we can best  achieve by integrating our three products into a cohesive experience.
